On Thursday, there was a lot of activity in instant crypto ETFs. The 12 U.S. Bitcoin funds attracted a total of $766.6 million in new investments, while the nine instant Ethereum ETFs attracted $428.44 million. Among Bitcoin-related funds, IBIT (Nasdaq, BlackRock ) led with $770.51 million, followed by BTC (NYSE, Grayscale Funds) with $95.35 million.

FBTC (Cboe, Fidelity ) received $47.47 million, and ARKB (Cboe, Ark Invest & 21shares) added $12.32 million. In contrast, BITB (NYSE, BitVee Fund) saw a net outflow of $10.22 million, while GBTC (NYSE, Grayscale Fund) saw the largest withdrawal of $148.78 million. Other funds, including HODL (Cboe, VanEck), BRRR (Nasdaq, Valkyrie), BTCO (Cboe, Invesco), EZBC (Cboe, Franklin Templeton ), BTCW (Cboe, Wisdomtree), and DEFI (NYSE, Hashdex), had no inflows or outflows on the day.

On the Ethereum side, ETHA (Nasdaq, BlackRock) dominated with $292.69 million in net inflows, followed by FETH (Cboe, Fidelity) with $113.61 million. The Ethereum Mini Trust (NYSE, Grayscale ) attracted $30.69 million, while ETHW (NYSE, BitVee Funds) added $6.58 million. Meanwhile, ETHV (Cboe, VanEck), EZET (Cboe, Franklin Templeton), QETH (Cboe, Invesco), and CETH (Cboe, 21shares) saw no change in net positions.


These inflows bring the cumulative net investment in instant Bitcoin ETFs to a staggering $33.06 billion since January 11, 2024, with the 12 funds holding a total of $109.15 billion in BTC. This reserve represents 5.57% of Bitcoin's market capitalization. Similarly, the Ethereum ETF's $428.44 million increase brought its total since July 23 to over $1 billion, reaching $1.33 billion. Currently, nine Ethereum funds hold $12.51 billion, or 2.71% of Ethereum's market capitalization, according to data from sosovalue.com .
